My name is Alex Pearson, and I want to take your picture.

I kind of have a split personality. You see I like new technology with all its conveniences and speed, but I also love the results you can get from manual film processes.

There are many ways I can capture your images. I can do it with a sleek modern digital SLR camera, that has all kinds of electronic gizmos in it. I can use a 1960’s Polaroid Big Shot, made famous by Andy Warhol. I can use a Holga, one of the cheapest, flimsiest cameras in the world that produces amazingly dreamy images. I can use a Mamiya TLR that uses two lenses and captures images on film 4 times the size of a 35mm frame.

No matter what kind of camera I use, my goal is to create something that you can’t get anywhere else. Something you will love forever.
